The date indicator is traditionally placed at the 3 o’clock position. At the 12 o’clock, position is a semi-circular window showing the day of the week in full, providing an instantly recognizable, unique design of Day-Date. The ribbed screw-down crown in Platinum Triplock with double watertight system, adorned with the Rolex logo, is a traditionally recognizable part of Rolex watches. The dial is covered with a scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a Cyclops lens above the date with double anti-reflective coating. A solid Platinum screw-down case back with fine fluted edges, closes the movement. The fluted fixed Platinum bezel is not only an aesthetic element of this watch, but also a true hallmark of Rolex.
